We really loved staying here, right beside the Bushman Heritage Museum gallery in Nieu-Bethesda. The rooms were clean, breakfast in the morning was lovely, and the staff were so sweet and friendly. We’d gladly recommend both the accommodation and the local community, and hope to visit again someday. Our sleep was interrupted by a storm that night, which was the only reason for the lower sleep rating. But from our bedroom skylight we had a direct view of an exquisite spread of stars, and even saw the brightest, most amazing shooting star right above us. It was magical.

On our second visit to this beautiful little town, we stayed in the very nice tower accommodation. I’d hesitate to suggest this particular tower for older guests or very young children, though: the first rooms are up one floor, the main bedroom is on the second, and the bathroom and shower are downstairs on the ground floor.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and we had a peaceful, lovely stay at The Tower. Martin is a terrific cook. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

The tower rooms are a must, and we had a scrumptious breakfast before leaving. This is a wonderful, unusual place that’s part of a local community project. Community members manage the facilities, including the historical museum, and local artwork is on display and for sale. Well done, and thank you to everyone involved.

The tower is a lovely place to sleep, and everything is within walking distance. Breakfast is included and really delicious; there’s a heater and fan in the room, too. The one downside was the dirty floors. They need to be washed with water.
