We’d definitely recommend these lovely self catering cottages for a relaxing weekend. They’re on a stud farm with stunning views and four trout dams where you can fish. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

A huge, beautiful working beef farm in Drankensberg. There’s strong wifi, but not crowds of people, plus plenty of walks, streams, and dams. Young horses in the nearby paddocks get excited and come over to greet the dogs as you walk by. Nights are warm with fires and heaters in the rooms.

The horses, sheep, cows, and duiker were amazing to see. It’s so peaceful here, with lots of space to walk and switch off. There’s no cell phone reception, which was the best part, and the wifi is enough. There are only trout in the dam now, no bass, but the place is just too beautiful.

The setting is beautiful, and the accommodation and entertainment facilities are truly worth it. I was privileged to give my daughter's hand in marriage here recently. The owners were extremely accommodating and made sure everything went smoothly. Thank you, Paul, Dezzie, and staff!

You can hear all kinds of farm animals here, from different birds and distant cows to all sorts of bucks. The owner is welcoming and friendly, and there’s plenty of farm life to experience. This hidden gem in the hart of Midlands is a great place to break away. Can’t wait to come back and see even more.
