Raw Karoo Guest House

We were very happy with our stay. The room was clean, nicely modelled and just what we expected, with aircon, a modern bathroom, bath and shower, and a little balcony overlooking the pool. They’d also left a nightcap in the room, port or something, which was a nice touch. The gardens were well maintained, and the pool was lovely to relax beside. It was surprisingly deep, though it could have done with a refill. Breakfast was decent, an omelette and cooked breakfast, but we had to pay extra for the warm meal. I’d thought it was all included, though maybe I missed the small print. The continental or cold breakfast was included in the rate. We only stayed one night. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming, showed us around and took us to our room. I’m sorry I can’t remember his name. We had a very good experience and highly recommend Raw Karoo guesthouse.

Really the best place to stay. Everyone’s super friendly, the rooms are perfect, and the pool is just the right temperature.

The hosts were warm and friendly, and breakfast was plentiful, with a lot of thought put into it. Our family room was clean and spacious even for four adults, with all the amenities we needed and comfortable beds. The location worked perfectly, on a quiet street and central to the attractions. Parking can be a little tight, but it’s manageable.

We arrived later than planned, but they were still waiting for us at 10 pm. The room was large and clean, with little Karoo touches like ostrich feathers and sheepskin rugs. Staff were really friendly and helpful with restaurant and sightseeing suggestions. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the garden terrace and would definitely stay again.
