We spent a relaxing week here at the end of our SA trip, in the large apartment right on the beach. The pretty garden was a lovely place to sit, and getting to the beach couldn’t be easier. The location is fabulous, the room was very comfortable, and we’ll definitely visit again. Shontell welcomed us and was helpful throughout. Everyone on her team was friendly and helpful. The bathroom felt dated and tired. We weren’t sure how bed and sheet changes worked during the week, but once we asked, it was sorted out straight away. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped, though fairly basic, and like many places it has no sharp knives.

A nice, spacious place for two, right on the beach. It’s well equipped and has a large bathroom.

I could properly relax here. From the bed, I could watch and hear the sea, and I even had a little veld steep muis (mouse) come say hi. You can see the sea from the bathroom too. Leeto and Voostrandt restaurants are both within walking distance, and there’s a garage for your car. Despite the warnings I’d heard about petty crime in Paternoster, I felt safe the whole time. The room had everything I needed. The view and proximity to the beach are the main draw. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was the lack of hot water for a shower. With Eskom in the blink, the guesthouse should consider a more sustainable solution for guests at the nightly rate they charge.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable, modern, and beautiful. Ronelle was so kind and patient. We arrived in Paternoster late, and she went out of her way to meet us after 9pm to check us in. I’d definitely visit again.
