The rooms were clean and comfy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and ready to help. I loved the green, peaceful setting. It felt like a relaxing little escape from the city, just right if you want quiet and calm.

We tried somewhere new for our anniversary weekend and were welcomed by a lovely, friendly gentleman. The room was cozy, and its decor fitted the whole lodge. We were speechless at the restaurant food, the staff and the value for money. We had a great time going for a meal...lol!! 😄 The put put course was our favourite, by far the best we’ve played. We’ll definitely be back in the holidays with our competitive kids. We also had an amazing couples massage. The ladies were attentive and very professional, and my husband loved it. He relaxed so much that he slept through most of it, which is quite a compliment. I also got to meet the salon owner, who fit me in for my nails. She’s very down to earth and has a vision for growing her business within the lodge. If you’re in the area, pop in for a bite or treat yourself to a spa Treatment.

The fairy lights and décor made the evening feel magical, and the team went above and beyond to make it special. We had my husband’s 30th birthday braai at Ascot Bush Lodge. The venue was beautiful, and the whole night was amazing. Thank you for making it unforgettable!

We’re a swimming club from White River in Mpumalanga, Uniswim Uplands Swimming Club. Two of our swimmers took part in the S.A. Short Course Champs in PMB, and we stayed at Ascot Bush Lodge for 5 nights. Huge thanks to the whole lodge team for the kindness, laughter, jokes, great vibes and friendly attitude. You made our stay memorable! The food was divine, compliments to the chef. The chalets were nice and clean, and the surroundings were lovely. We’ll be back! Jeff & Sam.

There was nowhere to park near our rooms, and it was raining, so the ground was muddy and slippery. The place needs some TLC: the towels looked old and dirty, and the cushions smelled as if they had never been washed. The owner was so rude and disrespectful. After checkout time, while we were carrying a sealed box of alcohol back to the car, he said “you people” were lowering the standard of the place and told us we weren’t in a shebeen. He called us all sorts of names. We just stood there in disbelief.
