Morokolo Safari Lodges

The rooms are spacious, the food is excellent, and the staff are great. There’s lots of wildlife coming to the lodge’s waterhole, too. We loved the morning and evening drives with Cliffort. He knows so much about the area and its wildlife, and each outing felt like a new adventure. Black Rhino Game Lodge is an amazing place. I’d give it 10 out of 10 stars, and I recommend it if you’re thinking about a safari in South Africa.

I had loads of vegetarian options and was very well catered for, which was especially important to me. The rooms felt homely and were spotless, and the game drives were amazing. We saw a lot, and the game rangers knew their stuff. Andy and the whole team were classy, hospitable, and so accommodating, with a huge smile and extra effort for every need. The experience was absolutely awesome. I’d definitely recommend the lodge and go back.

We saw the Big Five in just three drives, and Cliff went the extra mile on our last one to help us spot a leopard. He’s an exceptional ranger, really experienced and knowledgeable. The drives were fantastic, and the food was amazing from breakfast through dinner. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. From the moment we arrived at Black Rhino, we felt so welcome. It’s the best place I’ve ever been. Sad to leave our little piece of heaven, but glad we can always come back.

Megan DeBeer was the best guide. She treated the animals and other vehicles with real respect, and we appreciated Black Rhino’s ethical drivers after seeing that some other lodges in the area weren’t as respectful. We spotted the Big Five, plus hippos, giraffes, and all sorts of other animals. The lodging, food, and staff were fantastic. We had an amazing visit and highly recommend it.
