Lutz and Di made us feel so comfortable and gave us some awesome ideas for things to do at this incredible, central place. Beautiful sanctuary beach is only 600 metres away, and the water is so warm. Hiking and cycling are within a 20-minute drive. Yes, I’d recommend staying here. Danke Schön Lutz and Di. They also speak German.

The breakfast was brilliant and more than enough, and the location puts you close to all of Plett’s amenities and within walking distance of the beach. The rooms are spacious, with everything needed for a relaxed, comfortable stay. Lutz made sure we were completely satisfied. He’s friendly, funny, and pleasant. Our stay has been exceptional, and we highly recommend Gastehaus Pinkepank. Lutz, wishing you and Sisko a wonderful and successful 2023!

Lutz, the owner, personally looks after his guests. The breakfast was excellent and suited both English and continental expectations. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, with plenty of shelf space for personal items. The wall-mounted showers have hoses and can be used as handheld showers too, something Germans like but that’s seldom found in SA. The lights stay on during load shedding thanks to solar panels, a battery backup and an inverter. Also, the construction site you might see on Google Street View is gone, and the neighbour’s house is finished.

We loved the coffee and scrambled eggs, and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. The rooms were spotless, and the relaxed atmosphere made it feel just right for a holiday. Lutz knows the area inside out and had loads of ideas for things to do and places to visit. He really goes out of his way to make sure you're happy. We're already looking forward to coming back, especially to see Sisko.

We had a comfortable stay at Gästehaus Pinkepank. It's clean, spacious, and well located in Plettenberg Bay, with a fantastic host. I'd happily choose it again.
