Ethen Guest House

The guys helping us were so friendly that it made up for the things my fiancé wasn’t happy about. We had to ask for towels, there was no air conditioner, and the mist fan in the room wasn’t working. Still, the place was neat and beautiful, and we loved the service. ☺

It’s in a great neighbourhood, and you can walk to Savannah Mall for necessities. The rooms are on the small side, though, and the beds aren’t very comfortable. This is more of a place to stay when you mainly need somewhere to sleep.

The location is handy, with Savanna mall and a few other places just a short drive away. Each unit has a security gate, and there’s parking inside. I do think they should have a security guard, even though it’s a good neighbourhood. I had a good night. The room was neat and beautiful, the bathroom was clean and modern, and reception was friendly. The WiFi wasn’t working, though it should be fixed by now. There’s a TV with six or eight channels. Breakfast is available for R55, but I didn’t try it.

The location is good, but I think they need to raise their standards to better accommodate and attract guests. My stay was not a good experience. The TV didn’t work, there was no Dustin in the room, and there weren’t enough towels. By the time I went to the office it was closed and locked, and I tried calling reception several times.
