Arcadia Hotel

The place looks nice, but I wasn’t told some information at check-in. There were strands of hair in the bathroom and dust on the booklets left in our room, so it seems the housekeeping supervisor hadn’t checked it. The toilet paper roll was nearly finished when I used it, then it was gone, leaving just enough for one use. For me, it’s an okay place.

Their platters and buffet are nice, and I’d recommend the place for hosting workshops. The rooms are well equipped and ventilated, and the service was very commendable. I haven’t stayed in the rooms, though, so I can’t speak from experience.

I facilitated a workshop at the hotel and found the service friendly and good. Parking is tight and takes some getting used to, but the process went smoothly as long as the boom worked. Lunch was sufficient, hotel service was good, and the meal was basic as expected. Overall, I can’t complain.

The food was outstandingly delicious, from breakfast to supper, and everything was fresh. The bedding was absolutely very clean, but the toilets inside the rooms and the outside toilet were so dirty. The shower laces in the bath were dirty, the bathroom tiles were very dirty, and there was visible dust inside the wardrobe. It looked like the ladies just changed the bedding and toilets and left. The towels were too old. The cleaners really need to take pride in cleaning.
