The location was nice and quiet, but the yard was very dirty and didn't look like the one in the website photos. Management's service was a huge disappointment. When I arrived, I was rudely told that the person I'd booked with hadn't reserved my space. I could hear them arguing about my booking, and I didn't feel welcome. I left the massage place without seeing anyone, which made me feel my stay wasn't appreciated. They completely ruined my husband's birthday.

The massages and breaks between them were so relaxing that we completely switched off. I booked a full-day spa for myself and three friends to wrap up 2015, and the place was beautiful and peaceful. We were greeted with freshly baked muffins and croissants that were out of this world. The manager on duty, whose name I can't remember, was friendly and explained how the day would go. Thanks for helping us end 2015 on such a positive note. We'll see you soon.

I won't visit again. My room didn't have a shower, and there are two guesthouses with the same name, owned by the same people, in different locations. I went to the wrong one without realizing it and the female owner greeted me very rudely. The staff at Aquila road house were friendly and willing to help. The food was average, and this definitely wasn't a four-star guesthouse.

We traveled a long way to the spa only to find it was fully booked. The owner hadn't properly explained that we needed to pay a deposit to secure the booking, though they had sent us 21 photos and videos of the spa. The service was completely unprofessional, and we wouldn't recommend it. Disappointment seems guaranteed.

I felt at home from the moment I arrived in the evening. The staff greeted me warmly, and my room was up to standard with no complaints. I had a very good experience at Crane's Nest Guesthouse & Spa and enjoyed my three-day stay. I decided to add one more night so I could try the spa facilities.
