La-Perna Guesthouse and Venue

We held a function at the diner. The place was great, and so was the food. There's also a lovely, spacious play area for the little ones.

We were very disappointed by how the wedding day was handled. We booked and paid to use the charpel for the whole day on 15 November 2025, planning to do everything there. After our matrimonial, management seemed to be waiting for us to finish. As we were heading to take photos, they blocked our way and said their boss wanted us moved to another area because people were coming to celebrate a birthday and would make a lot of noise. Our camera was recording as we moved, and they were taking pictures too, so the managers knew. It felt like they just wanted to ruin our day. We refused to move because the charpel was the place we had viewed and agreed on. We also agreed with the owner, Amanda, that we'd bring our own catering, and she said not to bring alcohol, which we accepted. Then, during lunch, a worker told us we couldn't have our own drinks there, including juice, cold drink, and non-alcoholic champagne, because the boss said so. It was the same boss we'd made all the arrangements with. I'm glad we managed to keep ourselves together and carry on with the day. We're very disappointed. It feels like they take people's money knowing they won't deliver what they promise.

I only visited the restaurant, so I can't comment on the lodge itself. The play area was large, clean, and really nice, with screens showing sports, so you could keep an eye on your child while watching. The food was decent, and there are cocktail specials before 6.

The rooms are indeed neat and beautiful, and suited my daughter and me when we came for a tombstone unveiling in Montana. This was my second visit. Unfortunately, we couldn't switch on the TV, so we went to bed early. Still, my daughter and I enjoyed our stay.
