The rooms were substandard, and there was nothing special about them. Breakfast was a letdown too: the bread was stale, they only had pork sausages and bacon, which I don’t eat, and they couldn’t offer me anything else. The first night’s supper was horrible, especially the rump steak, which tasted recycled. I tried the braai on a plate the next night, hoping it would make up for the steak, but it wasn’t any better. Only the porridge and pchakalaka were edible. The meat smelled funny and tasted rotten. Complaining to the chef got me nowhere, as he told me to take it to the restaurant manager. This place doesn’t deserve its four stars. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you want a stomach bug from the stale and rotten food they serve.

The meat smelled awful, and I couldn’t even finish my food. Nobody else touched theirs either. The meals cost a lot for nothing. Food should be a priority, and if this is what you keep serving, you might as well close the place. I had to go out and buy something to eat. I’m not happy at all 😏😳😳😳😳

There’s loads of space, and the food is affordable. They speak Afrikaans and really go out of their way to make you feel at home. I spent a week there and it felt like being at a holiday resort. Amazing.

The food choices were dismal, and the kitchen utensils were dirty. I stayed for a week about a year ago, and the rooms felt dated and weren’t cleaned properly. The aircon didn’t work either. It wasn’t a very good experience.
