A lovely lady showed us around when we arrived and made us feel right at home. The staff were welcoming and very helpful, and we felt comfortable throughout the stay. We also appreciated having quiet and privacy, with space to relax in peace. Our room was clean and well kept, and the breathtaking view added a peaceful touch. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Everything was there in terms of appliances, and Emma was very hospitable. The place is tidy, clean, and well maintained. There weren’t any wardrobes for storing clothes, but it was still a really great guesthouse. Definitely recommend it.

Room 8 could use repairs and a bit of a makeover. The bedding smelled as if someone had slept in it that day or the night before, so I don’t think it had been washed. There was mould on the bathroom ceiling, the fan didn’t work, and the bathroom light was out. I was disappointed when I checked in. The advertised pictures looked nothing like the room I got.

The only real problem was the guests who arrived Friday night. They were noisy, talked loudly, and slammed doors, making it hard for me and the other guests to sleep. The owner tried to deal with it, but the noise went on into the early hours, and then those guests still had the cheek to leave a bad review. Apart from that, we had a fantastic stay at this self-catering guesthouse in Pretoria East. The views were stunning, the accommodation was immaculate and stylish, and we loved unwinding on the balcony. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area cozy. It felt peaceful while still being close to Pretoria’s attractions. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and we’d highly recommend it for a five-star getaway.
