Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, and the friendly hosts were always ready to share local tips and help guests feel welcome. De Bergkant is a peaceful place in the heart of Prince Albert, with lovely mountain views and an atmosphere that feels like home. The clean, comfortable rooms are thoughtfully decorated, with charm and what you need for a pleasant stay. A lovely base for unwinding and exploring Prince Albert, with true Karoo hospitality. Highly recommended.

Tracey is a master of hospitality. Her breakfasts are legendary, so don’t skip one! There are four swimming pools, drinks and snacks on tap, and the grounds are beautifully manicured. Do try the toasted cheesy, it’ll blow you away. The detail, kindness and quality are unsurpassed. Everything the staff at De Bergkant do is done with a smile and care, so you feel pampered and looked after.

The catering was scrumptious, presented to an international five-star standard. We were warmly welcomed, and the attention to detail was incredible. Our room was immaculate and beautiful. It’s not often I can say a place was 100% perfect. What a tremendous stay.

The rooms, including the showers, are stunning, and breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly. We also enjoyed the lovely pools, loungers and great cocktails. Definitely somewhere to stay in Prince Albert.

We visit Prince Albert regularly and love the town, but this was our first stay at De Bergkant. The decor and vibe throughout the property, the room, staff and swimming pool all exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was absolutely five-star too. We had the best weekend in a long time and will stay at De Bergkant whenever we visit in future. Thanks for having us!
