The property itself was clean, but arriving was a really bad experience. The man there said we weren’t on the list, even after we showed proof of payment, and kept repeating that we weren’t listed. He didn’t try to check with colleagues or seem concerned that we’d paid. We had to push to speak to someone, then waited over 30 minutes just to get contact numbers. While we stood outside in the cold, he was busy making TikTok videos. We also asked him for another blanket, but he said the only ones were already in the rooms, so we had to share one in the cold.

The bathroom could have been cleaner, and it had no mats or even a mop. They should replace the towels with white ones. There’s no air conditioning, which was an issue because it was cold when we stayed.

My first day there left a bad impression. A woman I believe was the manager made assumptions about me and passed them on to my superior without checking the matter with me first. She should have spoken to me directly, and only involved someone else if she still had a problem. When I tried to talk with her, she was very arrogant.

It’s self-catering, with large rooms and electric blankets on the beds. The place was clean, felt secure, and the car parking was safe.

A real home away from home, and I’d recommend it. The receptionist made our stay feel special. A highly recommendable place.
