We stayed at B&Bs all around South Africa during our trip, and this was one of the best. At the end of our six-week drive, we had dozens of bird photos we wanted to identify. The owners are both birding experts and spent more than two hours helping us name every bird in them. They're cheerful, friendly people who go out of their way to help. The house is lovely, with a wide, shaded veranda for breakfast, and the spacious grounds have a pool, tennis court and beautiful gardens. Jo'burg's safety often gets questioned, but this B&B is enclosed by high walls and its own gate, as well as a neighborhood gate staffed around the clock. We felt very safe. Highly recommended.

Maria was a great host, and Milton, her assistant, was simply awesome. The room, garden and atmosphere were all lovely. I had a peaceful, beautiful and tranquil stay.

I like staying at this B&B when I'm in Bryanston for business. Maria and her staff are welcoming and lovely, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is top-notch. Highly recommended.

The hosts are friendly, the rooms are well made up, and the place has a comfortable, homely feel. The gardens are beautiful, and there's a tennis court and pool too.
