A peaceful location, welcoming staff and a room I really liked made my stay comfortable. It seems well suited to a single person looking to relax and get some fresh air, or to a couple. My only caution is for families with small children: there’s no play area, just the swimming pool.

The service was the best part for me. The rooms have been renovated with modern furniture and built-in kitchen units. Keep it up.

We had to leave earlier than planned because of a family emergency, which was a shame. I’m hoping to come back soon, especially with the beach and everything else so close by. The host was friendly and easy to approach, and the area was peaceful and private. The place was impressively clean, from the crisp white bedding and spotless towels to the pool. Our bathroom was huge, with room for our bags and still plenty of space. The TV, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi all worked well, the shower was wonderful and the water hot. Each room also had a decent-sized microwave, a kettle, and tea and coffee supplies. There are big garbage bins around the property, and parking is under cover or in a garage, which felt reassuring. I also appreciated the clothesline, outdoor taps and wash basins. The grounds were well lit, and the braai area had two stands.

A big thank-you to the owners of Nqabanqaba for hosting my sister’s party. We had a fabulous weekend and were welcomed so warmly. The hospitality was amazing, and the place was lovely and spotless. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return. Much love, keep shining.
