The pool and garden are beautifully looked after, with the garden giving the place a little-paradise feel. Meals were another highlight, from breakfast to dinner, and each one was prepared just as requested, even when my instructions got complicated. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable, with good air conditioning. There’s a hairdryer and a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks on an honesty-bar basis, and they seem to have thought of everything. The team really goes out of its way to meet your needs. The front-of-house ladies were especially pleasant, welcoming us warmly and being lovely to deal with throughout. We’ll be back soon.

I liked the peaceful setting and the location, and the service was good. The WiFi allowance was the letdown, though. They give you just 1 gig to watch, so I had to use my own data.

It’s a superb place, though the restaurant orders can take quite a while. Maybe it’s because they’re also helping out at the hotel across the road.
