The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious, even better than the photos. The food was excellent and well presented, and the pool was clear and blue, which surprised me after all the rain that usually turns pools green. It’s a relaxing, friendly place, and Meena the owner and the staff were very helpful.

A very nice, affordable place. There was no water across JHB while we were there, but the owners went the extra mile and brought us drinking water, water for the toilet, and hot water. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The family were really nice, and the place felt comfortable and welcoming. It’s conveniently located not too far from OR Tambo airport, with secure parking on site. A good base to start or end a road trip, or get to a business meeting. Breakfast was great, and dinner is available if you order ahead. We stayed twice, first after arriving from England, then again after a month's road trip in Namibia, before flying back to England. The rooms were comfortable and the pool was delightfully clean.

Meena is a wonderful hostess and shared local history and information about the area. Breakfast was great and got me ready to head back onto the highway. I stayed one night in September and really enjoyed the quiet, comfortable rooms in this character home. The rooms are beautifully appointed, and you can use the whole house to relax and move around. There’s quality period furniture throughout. It’s a small detour worth taking if you want a break from the ubiquitous motels in the area.
