Marjaniek Wedding Venue & Guest House

The wedding food was superb, the best wedding buffet I’ve had. The bar service was fantastic, and the staff were the friendliest and most efficient we’ve come across in years of travelling. They’re a real asset, and we’re grateful for all the effort that made attending the wedding such a joyful experience. We flew in from the Bahamas for a family wedding and stayed in rooms 12 & 13. Both were clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and welcoming. A safe would be useful, along with hooks behind the doors for damp towels and dresses. The cupboard is divided into sections, which left creases in a dress. Breakfast was a scrumptious buffet with a good range of options. The wedding venue and Chapel were stunning blank canvases with breathtaking views, and could suit any bride’s theme. Highly recommended.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the bathroom is a treat, especially the big bath for couples. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from booking through arrival and with our extra requests. We did self-catering, with convenience stores a five-minute drive away and Mooi nooi town about ten minutes away for anything extra. The pool and little game drive give you enough to do over a weekend. Such a great hidden gem.

We came to Marjaniek for a friend’s wedding and were well looked after. The breakfast spread was excellent, and we spent plenty of time relaxing with coffee at the outdoor tables, looking out over the Rustenburg mountains. The rooms, curch venue, and function venue were all well equipped for their purpose. The staff were friendly and went out of their way several times to meet our extra needs. Highly recommended.

The service and cleanliness were perfect, and the rooms are nice. But the air-conditioning flooded my bed, and the owner implied it was my fault. I have pictures and videos showing it happened again the following night.
