The garden is lovely, with the Sabie river running through it and a spot where you can swim. Karla was a warm, welcoming host, and the dogs came by each morning ready to play. Our "Bicycle room" was roomy and clean, and the shared kitchen had what we needed, though we had to bring our own basic cooking ingredients. It was a peaceful, comfortable place. The bed felt too soft for us, and the Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room.

We enjoyed our stop at this secure, well-placed guest house. It was quiet and pleasant. The air conditioning seems to be limited to the upstairs room, but our fan worked well.

Gerda and Martin were such lovely hosts. They even lent us tubes to float down the river that runs past the property, which was a real treat. The place was clean, pleasant, and felt safe. I’d happily recommend it.

The owners are so kind, and the place is cozy and peaceful. A lovely spot to unwind surrounded by nature :)

There’s a lot of character here because the property is old. Old Apartheid-era furniture and rusty equipment from the timber mills have been deliberately placed around to create a distinct feel, and each piece seems to have its own story. The hosts are great to chat with and very accommodating. They also lend you tubes for a lazy float on the Sabie water. I only wish there were a spot for a campfire, where everyone could sit together at night and listen to the water.
