African Ambience

I ended up booking three nights at African Ambience on the spur of the moment after shifting my vacation plans. Those days in St Lucia became one of the best parts of the trip. The garden and pool feel like a little hideaway, and the hotel has been furnished with so much care. My room was clean and had all the amenities I could want. Hennie and Ilze are warm, thoughtful hosts who really make sure you feel looked after. I felt at home there and would absolutely stay again next time. Thanks so much for the hospitality.

Hennie even helped us repair our car after it was damaged, and he was so helpful throughout our stay. Since we were on our honeymoon, they had left a lovely note to mark our wedding, which was such a thoughtful detail. Breakfast was lovely too, and they can help arrange tours. I’d give African Ambience six stars if I could, and I’d absolutely recommend it.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and breakfast came with plenty of choice and some nice special dishes. The African theme really comes through in the thatched roof rooms, decor, and furniture. We’d happily recommend this place.

The pool area was fantastic, and our room had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable, which matters a lot to us, and the room felt really relaxing. Hennie and Ilze looked after us from the moment we arrived, and Hennie had loads of useful local knowledge. Breakfast was awesome, with a huge range to choose from. Simply the best in St Lucia.
