We were welcomed by friendly, helpful staff, and the booking was sorted out quickly. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, clean and very well maintained. With two pools to cool off in, the heat was manageable, and both dinner and breakfast at the remarkable restaurant were outstanding. It's a beautiful place close to shopping centres and entertainment. I'd give it 10/10 and recommend it any day.

I wasn't asked what I wanted for breakfast. The food was ready on a plate, but I should get to choose what I eat. The shower head in Room 1 needs replacing.

My daughter found the Dalberry Guest House online after my husband fell and broke his hip while we were visiting Kruger Park from Texas. He needed emergency surgery, and I stayed at the B&B for 11 days. Justine and her staff were amazing throughout a difficult time. They handled all my requests so kindly, even bringing in a large armchair for my husband after he was discharged and helping me find a walker. The room was spacious, which made it easier for him to get around, and had a microwave and refrigerator. Laundry service was available too, and breakfast was delicious. I'm so grateful for everything they did to help us.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, but the arrangements for our group of eight business travellers were badly handled. One colleague wasn't booked in, and only two of us got dinner vouchers for the first evening. We were then told the restaurant was closed, so the dinner money had to be refunded. Reception was also closed on our second night when a colleague arrived to check in, even though Dalberry had been told she would be late. Breakfast service was slow and could use an upgrade, and the bar fridge prices were ridiculously high. Clearer communication and an apology where it was needed would have made a big difference.

The pools are so clean, and the shops and Monte Casino are within walking distance. Everything was perfect for me, from the delicious food to the very clean surroundings. The receptionist, owner and staff were all so accommodating. I love this place, will always come back, and would recommend it to friends and family.
