@Sandton Hotel

The morning buffet is my favourite part, especially since they serve OYSTERS 😅. The food is amazing and there's a great choice. I haven't been to a better hotel, though I do wish there were more things for teens and kids to do. A gaming room with table tennis, pool, table soccer and PS5 would be great, along with a multi-sports field for soccer, basketball, rugby and cricket, plus mini golf. Still a 10/10 experience for me.

The hotel itself is great, but we ended up in the smallest room instead of the one shown in the picture, even though we paid the same as guests in the other rooms. That doesn't feel fair. When guests are asked to pick a bathtub or a shower, it would help to mention that the bathtub also has an overhead shower. I would have chosen differently if I'd known. The booking said both were included, so I wasn't expecting to be asked to choose and just picked the shower.

Xolani was a big help when United Airlines delivered the luggage I'd left in Newark. We had a really good time at Sandton, and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hospitality made our stay in Johannesburg memorable. The luxury apartments we saw were cozy and comfortable. We stayed back in November, and I'll definitely stay there again when I return to Joburg.

I keep choosing @ Sandton Hotel whenever I'm in Johannesburg, for work or a break, and it hasn't let me down. Working remotely is easy with the great WiFi, and the spa is a lovely way to unwind after a busy day in the city. The clubhouse is beautifully done, pool service runs smoothly, and room service is efficient. The views are incredible from the moment you arrive, and the service is always warm, attentive and professional without hovering. It's my regular place to stay in Joburg.
