10 Alexander B&B

The owners are such a charming couple and couldn't do enough for us. We loved the tasty breakfast, with lovely views over the pool and garden. Our room was spacious, comfortable and absolutely immaculate. Just wonderful.

We stayed a couple of short days at 10 Alexander B&B with Wietske and Paul, and it felt like a proper bed and breakfast. They know the wineries well and gave us helpful suggestions for making the most of our time. The peaceful grounds, with flowers and fruit trees, felt nicely removed from the bustle, even though town was close by. We could have walked, but affordable Ubers were easy to find. Breakfast was a real treat, with delicious coffee, homemade breads, biscuits and scones, and pancakes if you were lucky. There were four of us, and our rooms and bathrooms had everything we needed. We also had access to a shared kitchen with a stove, fridge and sink if we wanted to prepare something ourselves. A Stellenbosch gem!

The garden was beautiful, and the whole stay felt clean and peaceful. Breakfast was a real highlight, absolutely delicious. The lady who welcomed us at check-in and took our breakfast orders each morning was gracious and greeted us with a warm smile. She made us feel at home and is a real asset to 10 Alexander B&B. We had an impeccable 5-star experience in Stellenbosch.

We stayed four nights at "10 Alexander" in Dec 2022, with our family and our friends' family. The hosts were delightful and happy to help with anything, and we hope to return soon. It was an ideal base for walking to great restaurants in Stellenbosch. The rooms were first class, clean and comfortable. We also really enjoyed the garden and pool, especially all the birds, and the breakfast was great.
