Avemore Eikehof No 26

We stayed in one of Avemore's Eikehof Apartments for almost three months, and had a long list of problems: a broken window, air conditioning that didn't work, a broken fridge, and plenty more. The building underwent a full renovation while we were there, with no compensation for the disruption. Communication from Avemore was often disrespectful and not focused on finding solutions. At the end, they also tried to keep part of our deposit for items they claimed were broken, though we didn't even know those items were in the apartment. I can only recommend that anyone planning a short or long stay in beautiful Stellenbosch avoid this company at any cost. We called the apartment the Pigeon shack because the view included a decomposing pigeon corpse next door, part of what we saw every day. rip.
