It felt so much like home that leaving was harder than I expected. The apartment was spacious, clean and beautiful, with scenery and decor I could really relate to. I've stayed in plenty of holiday apartments, but this one felt different. It was incredibly relaxing, and I'm sure I'll be back.

The view from Unit No. 14 is great, but I ran into several problems. The beds and pillows were extremely hard, so this place won't suit anyone who needs a soft or medium setup. The monkeys are another issue. They make it hard to eat or have drinks and snacks on the balcony, since they'll take food from the table or from you. Keep the windows and doors shut or they'll get inside. There is no electricity backup during load shedding, so you may suddenly be left in the dark. The undercover parking is so tight that it only fits a Hyundai i10. If you have an SUV, it won't fit between the pillars. The owner suggested I use the open parking at the back, where monkeys were using the area like a jungle gym. The owner also asked for a breakage deposit and said it would be returned on checkout. It wasn't. I had to chase him every day, and Lekkerslaap eventually had to step in. I saw the refund on the evening of the fourth day.

The apartment has just been redone and is very nice, but the blue apes are a major problem. You can't leave anything open because they'll come inside. It's also a long way from any convenience store. We could have been told that Quick Spar burnt down in July.

The apartment was clean, spacious and nicely decorated, with a great sea view and the ocean just 40 meters away. Restaurants are within walking distance too. We had a wonderful stay in December 2019 and would highly recommend it.
