We had five nights at this lovely B&B, and my niece, nephew and their spouses stayed with us for two nights, from 3rd Dec to 8th Dec. Cilla and her team made everyone feel welcome and were so accommodating. The breakfasts were incredible, and the honesty bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Our rooms were spacious and well equipped, with a sparkling pool right outside, a welcome break from the heat. The location is just right: an easy walk to the village and beach, but away from the holiday crowds. This place is a gem, and I can't recommend it enough. We’ll be back!

We got the best night's sleep of our whole two-month sabbatical here. Anchors Rest is spotless, homely and beautifully maintained, in a great location and excellent value. Cilla has thought of every detail and is a wonderful host. It really feels like home away from home. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in uMhlanga.

The house rules are strict, but they’re understandable and clearly listed on Booking.com. We were warmly welcomed, and the breakfast buffet was top-notch, with friendly service. Everything is within easy distance, so the location is very central. No other complaints.

We felt very welcome and well looked after, and everything was comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious, and we made good use of the honesty bar. It's a lovely guesthouse close to the beach. They even let us stay past checkout because our pickup was later.

It feels like home here. The place is lovely, nicely decorated, with good beds and a really warm welcome. We only spent one night, but I’d happily stay for a few days.
