Simoni Guest House

The host was warm and welcoming, and everything was exceptionally tidy and clean. I really enjoyed my stay.

The gardens were nice and the rates were reasonable, but the stay had some real problems. We couldn’t check in on the date we’d arranged. I called and didn’t hear back until 10 pm, three hours later, so we’d already found somewhere else to stay. They did credit us for that night, which was a plus. The place was very noisy for at least four nights, and I couldn’t get to sleep before 1 am. Cigarette smoke also drifted into our rooms at times. The cistern in our room’s toilet was faulty, and nothing was done after we reported it on the second day.

I stayed at your guest house throughout April and really enjoyed it. It’s a very quiet place with a big yard for families, and the staff were polite and professional.

The rooms are lovely and there’s plenty of space for pets. I also liked the electric blanket, DSTV, and brilliant shower. It’s a great place to stay in Welkom, and if we’re back in town, we’d definitely come again.
