Loved this guesthouse. The rose garden is beautiful, the Chapel was open all weekend, and the pool area is lovely.

We booked this place for our families to stay during our wedding weekend, and one cottage was also used by the groomsmen to get ready. The communication beforehand and attention to detail leading up to the weekend were really great. Such a lovely spot!

The mountain and vineyard views are beautiful, and you’re close to town without losing the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. They provide the basics, and there’s an honesty bar with a few options to choose from. A sauna and spa are available on request. This is the most comfortable accommodation I’ve ever stayed in, and I highly recommend it for a short or long stay in Wellington.

We used to go away for a weekend somewhere different every month, but since discovering Sweetwater in Wellington, we don’t want to go anywhere else. The accommodation is awesome, with a pool, deck chairs, and sauna area. They also provide lovely extras like eggs from their chickens, milk, tea, coffee, and wood. Best hosts ever. Can’t wait to return. Thank you, Katja and Ulrich.
