The food really stood out, from the starters and main course through to dessert. I especially loved the cheesecake. We went for Christmas lunch, and the reservation arrangements were such a pleasant surprise. Our table was in just the right spot, the room wasn't too crowded, and the staff were amazing.

The hotel was clean and the staff polite, but I was very disappointed by my stay. A window was left wide open overnight so close to Kruger Park, and I woke up covered in mosquito bites. That felt like a serious lack of care for guest safety. Such negligence is unacceptable.

The shower area is open plan, so there's no privacy. It might be fine for a couple, but I wouldn't recommend staying here with siblings or friends. Apart from that, it was good.

We made a last minute booking, but everything went well. The dinner and breakfast were so good, and the room was very clean. Service was excellent too. Our dinner waiter, a tall, light complexioned Pedi guy, was really friendly and helpful.

4/10
The staff were friendly, and you can check in at any time. The place is quiet, though it sits right beside the road. The bathroom doesn't have a proper door, and the fan is incredibly loud. The quality doesn't justify the high price. Everything feels very old and hasn't been renovated in a long time, and there's no elevator.
