The place has an upmarket feel, with nice views and a polished atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the basic amenities are covered. There’s a decent amount of parking too. I didn’t check whether the pool is temperature controlled.

The restaurant staff were friendly, and the food was delicious and lovingly prepared. The whole boutique hotel has a warm feel, with an intimate setting and rustic charm. My room was clean, beautifully designed, and carefully detailed. You can tell a lot of care goes into the place. I’ll always remember it and plan to return when I’m in Harare. I highly recommend it for its hospitality and distinctive character.

The food is excellent, and the price is reasonable. Highland’s House is very clean and comfortable, with professional, efficient staff. It’s well placed for getting to other parts of Harare, and I’d definitely stay again. I’d say it’s one of Zimbabwe’s best hotels.
