Drift Inn

The lodge sits by a wildlife corridor, so walking outside at night isn't possible. In the morning, though, you can enjoy seeing elephants :). I had an amazing time at Drift Inn, which is simply beautiful, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Their help made my Victoria Falls trip memorable. There's also the option to have dinner at a lodge next door, which I warmly recommend. I'd gladly come back.

We were lucky to spot elephants across the road as soon as we arrived, then again near breakfast the next morning. Such an unforgettable sight. Before we left, we bought local coffee at the hotel, both ground and whole bean. Drift Inn's rooms were clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds, a kettle for tea and coffee, and a small bottle of water replenished daily. Tea and coffee were also available at reception throughout the day. The staff were welcoming and helped arrange taxis to Victoria Falls and around town during our three-night stay. Breakfast was excellent, with eggs, fruit, oats, muesli, yogurt, and freshly brewed coffee. Fresh coffee is quite rare in the area, where many places serve instant even at breakfast. I'm lactose intolerant, so I would have liked a few lactose-free options. Aside from that, everything was perfect.

Breakfast stood out, fresh and flavorful, and served in a lovely setting. The food overall was exquisite, with plenty of variety. My room was spotless and spacious, beautifully designed, and had everything I needed, including a very comfortable bed and a stunning view. The hotel also has a luxurious spa, a modern gym, a peaceful pool, and several dining options. From the warm greeting at arrival to the quick, smooth check-in, the welcome was excellent. Every staff member I met was friendly, professional, and attentive, and went above and beyond to make the stay memorable. It exceeded my expectations and lived up to its five-star rating. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and great service. Can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful time in Victoria Falls and would return if we get the chance. The hotel is in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, just a short walk or drive from the town center. Its garden, pool, and facilities are beautiful, and most of the time we had them to ourselves. The staff were incredibly friendly.
