Jono even arranged with our next hotel, Avani, so the handoff would be easy. They surprised Ken with a birthday cake and a nut platter there, too, which meant a lot to us. Back at Victoria Falls Oasis Hotel, we found champagne waiting in our room after the Zambezi River cruise, another thoughtful touch from Jono. The cruise staff had already surprised Ken with a cake and a “Happy Birthday” song while we were on the river. We’d been moved here from another hotel by our tour company, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise. We’d asked for a ground-floor room because of my husband Ken’s knee and hip problems, and got a very spacious, comfortable one that made things much easier. The laundry was quick, efficient, and very reasonably priced. Jono, the manager, drew on his years in tourism to give us invaluable advice about local sights and activities. His care, along with the kindness and attention from the whole Victoria Falls Oasis Hotel team, made Ken’s 73rd birthday trip memorable. Thank you, Jono and everyone there. Ken and Nimmie

We felt really safe here, and Vic falls is just a short, easy walk away. It’s a small boutique hotel with lovely rooms, and the bed and linens were amazing. The staff were so sweet and great. We rested well and ate well too. Perfect spot!

The breakfast that’s included was delicious, and everyone on staff was friendly and easy to approach. The grounds were well cared for, the pool was clean, and our room was spotless and nicely presented. Victoria Falls Oasis sits right in the heart of Vic Falls, within easy walking distance of the falls entrance and the shops. I’d definitely recommend it.

The lovely staff and their authentic hospitality really made the stay. The food was delicious, and the property is in very good shape. It’s an amazing oasis, just as the name suggests, and a perfect base for exploring, with the falls even reachable on foot. Thanks for such a nice visit. I highly recommend Oasis and hope I get to stay there again.

Jono, the manager, was extremely helpful with arranging an airport taxi and booking activities nearby. The hotel is close to the town center, and you can walk just about anywhere from there. Totally recommend!
