Ivory Hotel Apartment

This is a good-value option for short stays in the Tourist Club neighbourhood. The building is tall, supermarkets and restaurants are close by, and taxis are easy to find. Our one-bedroom apartment had enough space even with the free cot. It was a little chilly because the temperature control was broken, and the paint and interior could use some refreshing. The slippers were a thoughtful touch, and they can provide multi-socket adapters if your plugs aren’t UAE style. The staff were polite and very helpful. The email address doesn’t seem to respond, so calling directly may be necessary. For this area, I think the price is good.

The rooms were clean and generally acceptable, but the parking situation made the stay disappointing. We arrived from the airport at about 4:00 a.m. and spent over an hour looking for a space without success. There is no designated parking, and we received little help from the hotel or hospital administration at the time. After a long flight, that was extremely frustrating. The evening receptionist, Nurul, could also have been more cooperative and helpful in those circumstances. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially to guests arriving late or travelling by car.

I really enjoyed the stay. It may be described as a 3 star hotel, but it didn’t feel lacking. The staff were kind, and the receptionist, whose name I don’t know, was especially sweet and very helpful. She seemed to be from the Philippines. The area is also great, with hypermarkets, food, and a park all nearby.

Staying somewhere temporary in a new city can be difficult, especially as a single woman, but Ivory Hotel became a safe haven for me. I spent more than a month there and felt extremely comfortable around the staff. Austin is an amazing, customer-oriented professional, and the whole support team was very helpful. Their kindness made me feel safe throughout my stay.
