Hyatt Place Dubai Jumeirah

The location was amazing, with supermarkets everywhere, taxis available anytime, and food places nearby. I visited in summer and was amazed by the hotel. The service was 10/10, and even the way it was presented was outstanding. The staff were really friendly. I’d definitely recommend it and come back.

The room was spacious, and the hotel is family-friendly, with a great pool for kids and a nice playground behind the hotel. The staff were also very friendly. Still, the design feels outdated, and the maintenance and service need major improvement if the hotel is to live up to its good online reviews. During our stay, the Wi-Fi was very slow and kept disconnecting. The room AC didn’t cool properly; maintenance came, but it was still hot afterward. The breakfast area AC wasn’t working either, so breakfast was uncomfortable. We were shocked to find a big cockroach in one of our rooms, which made us uneasy. Breakfast needs work too. We went early, but many items already looked empty, and refills took a long time. Glasses, plates, and cutlery were often unavailable. The restaurant seemed understaffed, with only two people managing everything. Since it was Eid season, the hotel should have been better prepared for the number of guests.

We booked two standard rooms with sofa beds for a one-night stay with breakfast, for just AED 317. The rooms were spacious and clean, and this seems like a good spot for families. There’s a park on the side, a mosque nearby, and Nesto hypermarket and other grocery shops close by. Kids under 12 get free breakfast. Some complimentary items, including a dental kit, slippers, and sewing kit, were available on request. The pool was small and crowded. Breakfast was good, though there wasn’t much variety in the main courses.

The pool was a bit small, but it didn’t take away from an otherwise fantastic stay at Hyatt Place Jumeirah. The hotel is good value for money for short or extended visits, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality and value in Dubai. The staff across departments stood out, from a smooth, welcoming check-in to efficient housekeeping and a warm, attentive F&B team. Special thanks to Lubanshi, who was kind, attentive, and professional during both breakfast and dinner. Her hospitality added a personal touch. I was comfortable throughout, and the stay exceeded my expectations.
