Guesthouse Niko

My brother and I stayed here during a motorcycle trip, and the secure parking, closed off from the public, was especially useful. Breakfast was excellent. I’ll just mention one detail, there was freshly squeezed orange juice. Highly recommended.

Niko is a wonderful host, and the rooms are both spacious and clean. Breakfast was the best we had during our entire one-week trip in Albania, with everything served fresh, including orange juice, doughnuts, and eggs. The city center is only a 5-10 minute walk away. I can only recommend this place.

Niko is an incredibly sweet and welcoming host, always smiling and proactive. The garden and location will put you in a good mood, and the flat is spacious, air-conditioned, and has a nice bathroom. It’s only a few hundred meters from the center of Berat. Niko can accommodate a camper, car, tent, motorbike, or whatever you have, and he does it with the biggest smile. His homemade breakfast brings the same smile to your face. PS, take a Photo with Niko so both Bill Murray and Jack Nicholson appear in it. Thank you Niko, God bless you.

Very clean, simple, and reasonably priced. The location was handy too, just a short walk into Barat, and there was parking for our rental car. The owner was lovely and took good care of everyone. We had breakfast outside every morning, and it was really nice, though we thought it was a little short on coffee. We never actually asked because of the language barrier and just stopped at a local shop on the way into Barat instead. Partway through our stay, our room was upgraded to a more modern one. We’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Barat.
