Hotel Panorama Elbasan

The mountain-top view over the city is stunning, and the sauna and indoor pool were especially welcome in the cold season. Both were clean, comfortable, and new. The building has a general heating system, warm bathroom floors, and very hot showers with strong pressure. Those details may sound basic, but hotels in the Balkans are often set up mainly for summer. The welcoming local staff did their best to keep guests comfortable. Breakfast included coffee, eggs, hot bread and sausages, baklava, juice, milk, and tea. I particularly enjoyed the hot traditional dish and the small raki they gave us as a present 😊. We also ate dinner there, and the baked lamb was one of the best I have tried. The bread made on site was delicious too. It's a good place to stay.

The view was amazing, and the balcony was connected to the neighboring ones with no wall between them. The pool was crowded with children when we arrived, but in the evening we had it completely to ourselves and it was peaceful. The sauna was great, although it was over 100 Celsius. We also liked the playground and trampoline. The peacocks, birds, bunnies, and deer were very cute and friendly. The staff were amazing, and the price was very cheap for what they provide.

What stayed with me most was how calm the place felt, especially in the evening with the sun going down over the hills. The view really suits the name Panorama Resort, and being there made it easy to forget the city was nearby. My room was cozy, spotless, and comfortable, with plenty of care put into the small details. The staff were just as memorable, welcoming me so warmly that I felt at home almost immediately. The food was fresh and delicious too. Eating it while looking out at that view was a real highlight. I left rested and happy, and I’d gladly return. 💛

The location was lovely, and the restaurant food was excellent. On top of that, the hotel manager was extremely kind, hardworking, and accommodating. I had originally planned to stay one night, but I enjoyed it enough to extend my stay to two.
