We checked availability online, then walked in and asked for a room. The rate was good, and it worked out cheaper that way, but they only accept cash. The location suited us. It’s a short walk from the bus drop-off from Himare, and the ferry pier is at the bottom of the hill. With rolling luggage, take the side streets to avoid the stairs in the middle of the block. Our room was clean, with plenty of pillows and extra blankets for the cooler spring evenings. The small balcony looked toward the harbor in the distance. The bathroom was a European wet room, but we just put the floor towel down after showering. A decent hotel in Albania.

The port view was lovely, and we were close to both the waterfront and restaurants. Our room at Hotel Porti was clean, and the staff were friendly. A great place to stay.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the bed was comfortable. Our updated room was clean, with good electrical and security. I liked the small balcony with its table and chairs, plus an awning that helped keep the room cool. The AC was great, and the shelving gave us a handy place to put our belongings. The neighborhood is quiet, away from the busy beach strip, but still close enough to walk to the beach. Markets and cafés are nearby too. I'd recommend it if you're after an affordable, comfortable stay.

I had to cancel just 30 minutes after booking because of a transportation problem. It wasn't covered by the cancellation policy, but they were really kind and accepted it anyway. I appreciated that, and I'll definitely stay there next time.

The balcony had a nice view, and the room itself was spacious and clean. Getting around was easy, with a grocery store and restaurants nearby and the beach within walking distance. We asked for amenities but weren't given any, and there was no shampoo or soap in the room. The AC worked, though it was so loud I needed earplugs to sleep. It was okay, but overpriced.
