Sunrise Luxury Apartments

I booked 15 days here but left after three because I couldn’t sleep. There was construction next door during the day, so even a nap was out of the question. At night, people spoke loudly enough to wake me several times on the first night, and on the third night people were actually yelling in the stairway. After midnight I couldn’t get back to sleep. The listing says the rooms are soundproof, but they aren’t. All the apartments are on the first floor, with residences above. I asked to move to a higher floor and was told that wasn’t possible. They offered another room, but it was on the same floor, so I expected to hear the same noise. There wasn’t an ironing board either. I felt I had to leave because the only option they offered was another room on that floor. The manager wasn’t there when I went back the next day to discuss my refund, and after I messaged her, she said she couldn’t refund me. The management is never around when there’s a problem. I reported the false advertising to Hotels.com and asked what they could do. They tried calling the manager to help get a refund but couldn’t resolve it, and didn’t really answer my question about the listing. Now I question the listings on Hotels.com because they don’t seem to hold vendors to what they advertise. I wouldn’t recommend this place: it’s noisy, the rooms aren’t soundproof, and I couldn’t get help from management.

The apartment was clean and modern, and the staff were really friendly. Had a great stay, highly recommend it.

It’s close to the center and the beach, and the rooms were clean and well organized. We really enjoyed our stay. The bed and pillows in our room were a bit hard, so they weren’t very comfortable. Other guests sometimes made a lot of noise in the morning and after midnight, though that wasn’t the owner’s or accommodation’s fault. We tried the café’s croissants and didn’t like them. Still, it was a really nice place to stay, and we know where we’ll stay if we return to Sarande.

The location was ideal, very close to the beach, and the apartment was modern, clean, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. My vacation here was perfect, and I’ll definitely return. Highly recommend it for a pleasant stay in Saranda.
