The outdoor setting beneath the grapevines was lovely, and the family running the guesthouse and restaurant were welcoming, kind, and so nice. I had dinner here with friends who were staying at the guesthouse, and the food was great. The wine was the best I had on my whole trip. Highly recommend.

Guesthouse Gjin Thana was the ideal base for starting our hikes, and the rooms had everything we needed. The hospitality was faultless, with kind service and delicious food. Breakfast was especially generous, more than we could have hoped for, and they kindly prepared packed lunches for our hikes. The views were simply stunning, and we had the best stay. We’d highly recommend it.

Guesthouse Gjin Thana is genuinely a gem. The room was cozy and had everything we needed, though having a mirror in it would have been nice. That wasn’t a deal breaker. Breakfast came as a set, with plentiful and delicious food that changed each day. The family were kind and always ready to help. The guesthouse was within walking distance of the town and all the main attractions, so we’d definitely recommend it.

Guesthouse Gjin Thana brings together panoramic views, homemade food, and warm hospitality from the Thana family. We enjoyed breakfasts on the balcony and hearty local dinners, including the overbaked aubergine. It felt like pure mountain magic. If you stay here, ask for a balcony room and make sure to have dinner. It’s filling, local, and unforgettable. Love Albania ranked it #1 in Top 5 Accommodations in Theth.

The location is absolutely amazing, and the rooms are very good. They seem to have been updated recently and now feel like pristine mountain cabins. The bathrooms are somewhat dated, but the water pressure and temperature are excellent. The in-house restaurant is affordable and serves delicious homemade food, especially the Albanian options. There’s also a bar/cafe on site, and the breakfast spread is amazing. I can’t recommend this place enough.
