Golden Ring Resort

The view was very nice, but getting there wasn’t ideal, and it’s better to come by car than on foot. My room was nice, though there was no hot water and the Wi-Fi was a little slow. The man at reception seemed nonchalant, and the hotel looked unfinished. There were also hidden charges with the room booking. The breakfast lady was very kind and accommodating, and made an effort to communicate with us through a translation app.

Our suite at Golden ring was amazing, spacious and cozy, with all the amenities. The pool looked nice, but it was raining so we didn’t swim. Breakfast included some traditional options and was served in a large room that looked like a banquet hall. You need to park the car, then either climb the steps beside it or walk up the slope to reception. Cards are accepted, and the lifts are small. It seems to be a wedding venue. The property is 20 minutes from the center, with shops about a 10 minute walk away.

I don’t want to come back. The jacuzzi was broken, with no bubbles or anything, and I could feel ants crawling on me in bed while I slept. The shower water barely trickled, and the smell in the room was so bad it was hard to stay there. We paid, but didn’t get what we’d paid for.

Fine for a few days, and the pool was really nice. Outside looks better than the simple rooms. There were no glasses, and the tap ran very slowly, though the shower was good. Breakfast was okay. There’s no restaurant.
