Guest House Druzhba

The house is in a quiet area, with a 24-hour supermarket nearby that has a great exchange rate, plus plenty of bakeries. It's only five minutes from the metro, and there's a lovely garden and a separate entrance from the street. I was the only guest, so I had the whole cozy house to myself. Avik was a welcoming, polite, attentive and very helpful host. There was a kitchen too. The house wasn't very clean or cool, but that didn't spoil my overall impression. I recommend it. 👍

Once you get there, they simply hand you the room keys and leave you to it, which makes for a great stay. Finding the guesthouse can be difficult, particularly on a first visit late at night. Maps.me wasn't helpful, and there's no sign or lighting at the entrance. The beds are old and creaky, and you can hear noise from neighbors because the soundproofing is poor. Those are the few downsides.

The owner was friendly and quick to respond to all our requests, and even took us on a trip to the mountains and Lake Sevan. My friend and I stayed here in the winter of 2017 and really enjoyed it. The place was cozy and conveniently located.
