The stay was a great price, and the apartment is lovely, in a great location. Estella is so sweet and wonderful; I loved meeting her. The tricky part was payment. She requires cash and prefers US dollars, and I hadn’t read the fine print. Because of the government’s daily withdrawal limits, getting enough cash to cover the room wasn’t easy. Come prepared with cash rather than a credit card.

We made the Booking.com reservation a month ago, but today the owner messaged demanding prepayment WITHIN 12 HOURS to keep it. I checked the host’s original messages from when we booked, and this (ridiculous) demand wasn’t mentioned anywhere. We’re on holiday and don’t check email constantly, isn’t that the point? Our reservation was cancelled after 12 hours, and now we have to find somewhere else at short notice. I understand your national currency is a joke, but if you have demands like this, they should be made clear from the start.

The apartment has a very well-equipped kitchen and even a washing machine, which is ideal for travelers. It’s a fantastic place in a central location. A special thanks to the lovely Stella, who got in touch before I arrived with useful information and helped organize everything. She was extremely kind.

We especially appreciated Stella’s attention to detail. She was always available and ready to help, and her breakfasts were delicious. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, in an unbeatable location. Excellent experience, and we’ll definitely be back.
