Our vacation in Buenos Aires was ruined by the problems at this hostel. The ceiling in the room we were supposed to have collapsed. If it had happened while we were inside, it would have fallen on our heads. We were moved to a smaller room with a bathroom door that wouldn’t close, and the room was tiny and filthy. We’d supposedly booked a room with a jacuzzi tub, so we were very disappointed. The owners didn’t show up until the last day, when Mariano came by, but he didn’t give us a proper apology. After we’d stayed two nights, they offered one free night, which we turned down. We’ll never go back, even for free. It’s not even cheaper than better places, so I recommend staying elsewhere.

I loved this place, but it’s a real shame that it’s now closed, occupied by squatters, and no longer operating as a hotel.
