I booked room number 1 through Airbnb, and the owner didn’t contact me until I filed a complaint. The room and accommodations weren’t as advertised. Towels were supposed to be complimentary under the booking conditions, but the owner didn’t provide any and demanded an extra fee. The room was dirty and very tired, with grease stains and cobwebs all over the walls, and the sink and plumbing needed repair. All night, trees or something else kept hitting the roof, making it impossible to sleep. It felt like I was getting an MRI. The owner didn’t try to help resolve anything, wouldn’t get in touch, and wouldn’t refund money for services they couldn’t provide. A horrible place and a horrible owner. If you want to ruin your experience of beautiful Patagonia, this is the place for you!

The bus station is within walking distance, and the main strip of stores and restaurants isn’t too far away. The staff were so kind and helpful, and really went out of their way to make me comfortable. It’s an amazing place to stay, and I’d definitely come back.

I loved the atmosphere, and the place was clean and comfortable. The helpful staff have two lovely cats hanging around. It’s close to the bus terminal, which is handy, but otherwise it’s a bit of a walk to get anywhere. One odd downside: if you’re a bit bigger, getting into the bathrooms is really tricky. The rooms open inward, and there’s barely room to get around and close the door.

It felt like staying in a nice hotel. A room for two was $45USD per night.
