The rooms were fine, the location is great, and all the other staff were wonderful. That's why it was so disappointing to have this happen on our final night. The entrance gate only opens when reception presses a button. We'd never had trouble with this setup before, but the person on the advertised 24-hour desk went out for a 20-minute smoke break and left us stuck outside. I was feeling unwell, and after ringing for 10 minutes, I climbed over the gate and went behind the reception desk to let my partner in. When the receptionist saw us, she smiled as if nothing had happened, then went back outside to roll another cigarette. The hostel needs another way to open the main gate, two people to cover the job, or a curfew so travelers know when reception is closed and they can't get in.

The courtyard is lovely and peaceful, and there's a small pool too. Showers and toilets were excellent, and the staff were always helpful. A really great hostel near the centre with everything you need. 10/10 🥰

A small pool was just the thing for cooling off after biking through the vineyards. The place is pleasant, well equipped, and in a good spot in the city.

Mora Hostel has a warm, welcoming feel, and our stay there recently was great. It's family run, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our private room was pleasant, with air conditioning, lockers, and a door that locked. The location made it easy to reach central Mendoza, cultural spots around the city, and the bus station, which is handy for backpackers. We highly recommend More Hostel for its hospitality and charm.

The kitchen setup was excellent, probably the best we've found so far on our travels in South America. Staff were attentive and happy to answer our questions. It's a brilliant hostel, just outside Mendoza's main attractions.
