It’s an affordable, rustic place, not new, and a little hard to find since there’s only a street number. It’s very close to downtown, with good beds, hot water, and heaters in the room. The bathrooms are shared. What really makes it is the cool guys working there. If you’re cool with them, they treat you like family and take great care to make sure you have what you need. They made my time in Mendoza excellent.

Rafa House is a lovely option if you want somewhere central and practical instead of fancy. It’s a basic hostel, but the staff are remarkably friendly, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is made fresh for each guest. Recommended.

It’s not far from the centre, and there’s a nice rooftop where they sometimes hold a BBQ for all the guests. The downside is that the toilets and showers are shared.
