Hotel Altair

So-so.

We left really happy, my boyfriend and I. I'd seen all the complaints in the reviews after booking and thought I'd rather find out for myself. Glad I did. We arrived at 5:00 AM even though check-in was at 12:00 PM. They let us leave our bags and rest in the reception area, and our room was ready a little before 10:00 AM, so we got in early. The room was what we expected, with a super comfortable bed, air conditioning that worked perfectly, and a TV that was nice to have on in the background as we fell asleep. Smoking isn't allowed in the room, which was the one downside, so we had to use the little balcony. The service was wonderful, and they made us feel incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet has a lot to choose from, though I'd have liked more savory choices. There's still quite a lot on offer, and the dome looking out over the sea is lovely, especially with the sun on it. The pool is heated and enjoyable even when other people are using it, although sometimes it gets a bit too warm. It's a 3-star hotel, so don't expect luxury. It does the job, and the service is excellent. Thank you for everything! 🫶🏻

We had a great time, and the apartment was very comfortable for my family. We chose this hotel because it's right in front of the sea. The staff were very attentive, and cleaning was done whenever we asked. The breakfast deserves a mention: everything was a 10, the women taking care of it were a 20, and the breakfast room had a gorgeous view. We had a couple of little problems, but they were sorted out straight away and everyone was very willing to help. There are spacious closets and handy side tables, too. The pedestrian street is just a block away.

The staff's warmth was what I appreciated most. They were always attentive, friendly, and ready to help. The Hotel Altair in San Clemente del Tuyú exceeded my expectations, with spotless rooms and great attention to detail. Its location is hard to beat, really close to the sea and easy to reach on foot. Breakfast was Roman-style, plentiful, varied, and made with quality products. The heated pool was a treat, especially on cooler days. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and will be back!
