Olivos de Monte

The bathroom smelled of sewage throughout our stay, and we had just one hand towel for everyone. They wouldn't change it unless we asked, and each person got only one bath towel. There was no housekeeping, which we only found out when we arrived. At checkout, staff kept us waiting until someone could inspect the cabin and count the bathrobes and towels. We had to ask several times before anyone came. For a place of this caliber, that felt pretty disappointing. They also take cash only, and I think there are better places for the price. We were five, but the cabin they gave us was barely suitable for four, so the fifth person slept on an old, uncomfortable sofa. The kitchen setup made cooking difficult: only three soup plates and two dinner plates, a few mismatched glasses, and cheap plastic cutlery. The fridge barely cooled, and there was no oven, just a hot plate and microwave. The place wasn't clean either, with cobwebs everywhere and some indoor and outdoor lights not working. As others have said, the facilities need maintenance.

The spa was a favorite, especially the pools and facilities. I also really liked the floatation tanks and massages. We came with friends and loved the kayaks and bikes, and the rooms were cool and clean. Reception was very friendly, and the restaurant served great food at very good prices. Everything was perfect. I'd highly recommend the place.

The massage therapist was really kind, and the place itself is nice. But it feels poorly run, with too few staff and a lot of disorganization. We couldn't get a reservation because nobody replied on Instagram or WhatsApp, and there wasn't another way to reach them. On arrival, nobody came to welcome us. We were let into reception one at a time, which felt like being at school. When we tried to explain how we'd pay, the woman with curly hair kept talking over us and her manner was unpleasant. I wouldn't return.
